I never knew what Homestar Runner was until like... 2011? Or something. Really late in the game, and I never really wanted to look up any of the content. I do like this guy's design though. Really simple, distinct, and fun. :0

oh man I do remember knowing about Homestar Runner like several years back and watched a few shorts but they didn't really grab me. Only recently I got charmed by the weirdness of Homestar Runner x3 Such a colourful cast of bizarre somewhat humanoid creatures.

Aaa gorsh! I keep coming up with silly HR jokes too, a-like so

Coach Z: Porlor!
Bubs: I got those! Er not whatever Coach Z just said.
Coach Z: that's good becarse it's an illness.
Bubs: I got tetanus, rabies, malaria, but no polio.
Coach Z: shucks, and I thought I gort parblums.
Bubs: (scowls) are you gonna buy one or not.
Homestar Runner: No but seriously I placed a marker here. (lead-in to joke I haven't thought of yet)-
oh no continuation!
Bubs: Right in front of my concession stand?
Homestar Runner: Actually, a little ways off.
Bubs: What is it even for?
Homestar Runner: I dunno, it felt like a good idea at the time.
Bubs: Wait a minute... That's not a marker, that's a pencil!
Cut to pencil sticking out of the ground.
Homestar Runner: (exasperated) What, really?! (looks down at the pencil)
Strong Bad: (walks into scene) What's all the ruckus about? (looks at pencil) Homestar, are you trying to grow a pencil tree?
Homestar Runner: I don't know! I think so!
Strong Bad: Not to mention you're cramping Stick's style. Do you really want to upset Stick, Homestar?
Homestar Runner: N-no...
Strong Bad: Then just take your pencil and do something you do with pencils do. Things.
Homestar Runner: I honestly don't know what else you could do with a pencil! (crouches down about to pluck out pencil out of ground)
Marzipan: No way Homestar, you leave that pencil tree alone! It's an exceedingly rare, endangered species!
Strong Bad: Oh brother, this again.
Marzipan: Clear out, leave space for the tree, and please sign my petition to turn this area to a national park.
Bubs: What about me?!
Marzipan: I don't know if trees need to buy wares from you so that'll remain open for now.
Bubs: Phew!
Pencil remains in the ground, everyone leaves, except Strong Bad and Bubs.
Strong Bad: (whispers) Hey, Bubs, you got any chicken pox?-
That reads just like an HR 'toon. Maybe you should just email it to Strong Bad & see if anything happens. :D
