Two of the principal female hare characters: Gemma Withersfield prominently on the right, and on the left her homestead's attendant Myna (steer clear of her before morning tea--Myna un-caffeinated is perilous). Gemma's the heir to the Withersfield fortune and the leadership of the settlement in Southern Mossflower. No wandering or Long Patrol for these two--they're well-rooted lagomorphs with a lot of responsibilities and home comforts.

Gemma is the mother of Blythe/Friggah, the little harebabe survivor that Klavis adopts.
