^u^; Two beautiful but critically endangered animals whose plight is directly linked--the nets catching the totoaba in illegal fishing (for just the bladder, of all things :| ) are the same nets slaughtering the vaquita as unintentional by-catch. To save one, we must aim to save both, but most people tend to ignore the totoaba since it's "just a fish" and the vaquita is a visually-charming, "cuddly" mammal. But both are equally great, valuable, and beautiful--neither should be ignored or counted as "lesser".
