This is a really nice interpretation of a bulbasaur! I love the neck and head, reminds me of a bearded dragon or another lizard you might see in the desert. Being able to photosynthesize would be really useful for an animal that lived there!
My only critique might be to make the bulb a bit larger and more noticeable, or maybe change the orientation a bit so it's a bit more centered on his back. I wanna see it when it's colored!
