"Awww, poor thing! Let's find your mama..."

When they're not generally being douches... Drow are win. Because they love the arachnid types. ^^

Experimented with darkness filters and lighting effects... small digital painting that took six hours... on and off, of course. XD

I really like the composition on this, the facial expression, the way the spider was shaded - but my favourite part is the lighting! You've conveyed darkness and atmosphere very well, and I love the way the light interacts with the spider's eyes. However, next time I would suggest using harder, less "airbrushy" brushes to add more interest via texture and borders between light and shadow. For example, using a harder painterly brush on an "add" layer, paint on the strong lighting on the Drow's back, it'll look super cool! Anyway, you've done a good job. :)

^^ Thanks for the tips! I haven't been drawing digitally for too long so I'm still working out how to use other brushes--so far it's just airbrush, pen, and eraser. XD

You're welcome! I don't know what program you use but on procreate I go for a Flat Brush and Water brush - both are hard edged unlike the airbrush except the water one has a textured edge. These brushes teamed with careful colour layering can make a pretty nice effect. However, the airbrush does have its use! It's fantastic for ambient lighting, shadow, and sub surface scattering after you've done all the textured stuff to bring it all together.
If you need any more help let me know! Though I'm not the authority on the subject, I'm only halfway through my teens. >.>
