Maranaga in Mourning (critique requested)

SpiderMilkshake

World-building and psuedo-vore in the same image... alright then.

A pair of maranaga "bury" a deceased friend. Inside the larger of the two (Burmese python fella). They seem like nice snakes, might need a hug or two right now.

The Maranaga have no qualms about cannibalism, though harming a member of their own species (or any other) without needing to is still murder to them. Many Maranaga believe that consuming their dead is the only way to honor them, and sometimes individuals develop a fearful belief that if their body is left without use after death, they will be trapped for a time at the location of their death. There are other reasons why they eat their dead too--including not wasting the body, and also to prevent the body's presence from revealing their existence to human civilization (scattered witnesses are alright--it's easy to call a lone witness crazy XP) and attracting potential predators of their young. It's quite natural to them, as it is with many species.

Colorized ink lines. Trying to do more "comics-style" colorizing in preparation for coloring in some full-length comic pages. :)
