A Tyrannosaurus Rex and an Albertosaurus made friends! Somewhat rare for competing carnivores in a dangerous landscape like late Cretaceous Canada, but stranger things have happened. :)
Colored sketch, lined with ballpoints.
Also, when I posted this on DA, some dude was giving me flak about the three digits thing and about how he thought the stance would give these dinos "broken limbs". While I know the three-digit vs. two digit thing is simply a traditional representation since it cannot be known for sure if these species had only two or if a small third one was present like in other tyrannosaur relatives (and I just like drawing a third, personal preference is alright in art not intended to be a scientific restoration! ^^). What I'm worried about is... what was that about the stance? I've been all over this drawing and I can't for the life of me find an anatomical anomaly with the legs. So tell me: Am I presenting these creatures' stances wrong or was this dude reading the drawing wrong? Thanks muchly for the comments. :)
