my grrrl zuckerdachs was so excited about the previous pic that she couldn't wait until our actual 6-month-iversary to show me. and I loved it so much I just had to enlist DoD for a sequel. he turned it around from sketch to final in less than a day, just in time for the actual event. what a guy!!
being a vaguely mesoamerican jaguar god, Rey can channel solar flares, planetary alignments & similar convenient cosmic energy junk to make himself crazy huge. meanwhile his partner in calamity Emma Jean can absorb that refined growth energy into herself, which usually leads to her stealing most of his bigness for herself. she lets him keep a little, though, so she can enjoy being miles tall without losing track of her toy. how positively indulgent!!

Totally! I never really understood the appeal of macro until it dawned on me that not everyone needs to be the same size. Suddenly you can be hugely powerful & casting miles-long shadows, but still enjoy all the benefits of being somebody else's plaything. Thankfully, Emma Jean is more than happy to play that role. Best of both worlds, IMO. (That doesn't mean I don't still enjoy getting hell of tiny from time to time)

i do have to say this is like, one of my favorite scenarios. someone getting huge and starting to get into it, and let the power go to their head then see a shadow behind them, and find out theyre not the biggest guy around.
