After a fifth recording and still messing up, I gave in to just post my most recent work. I'm practicing more live work (the acoustics is just a digital instrument, but the learning curve for the real thing applied), and I feel that i'm just getting worse at it. The more I seem to do music, the more I end up learning - but I swear my songs are just not what they could be.

Plus it doesn't help that my hands have been a bit shaky, hence some of the instrumental cutoffs at odd tempo points. Discouragement happens incredibly easy, especially as of late. I don't exactly have a mentor or teacher, or anyone I can collaborate with to learn new styles or improve my own. My way of learning seems to be just taking the leap and trying out a new style for myself.

Maybe i'm getting defensive for nothing, but i'm becoming more and more nervous in pressing the submit button... But maybe its all in my head.
