A trade piece done for the most awesome . She requested bunnies and suggested a carousel theme initially, which I jumped at the opportunity to do (fun fact: I used to do carousel animals all the time when I was younger). After picking the Blanc de Hotot as the featured breed, it occurred to me that it would be especially appropriate to make the overall theme very French Rococo-inspired. I've never done anything themed towards that particular art movement but it was much fun; lots of ruffles and shell-like forms. I can't get enough of working with blue...
