Hello there my freaky darlings! This will be the final progress shot for this until it is done. I was tempted to leave it simply at the 5th page but I know there are some of you out there that have been enjoying these, so one last page for you guys!

As with the previous page, I've been hard at work layering and layering the pencil to create a suitably rich saturation and texture. I have completely finished the pool table as you can see, save for going back and doing some tiny tweaks to the shadows here and there. I'm actually not terribly satisfied with how I've been coloring the walls so I'm probably going to fuss over them some more. I'm also wanting to darken the far room to create a better backdrop for him. Speaking of him though, so far how I'm coloring him I'm incredibly pleased with. As you can see I'm starting to establish the deepest shadows on him; I've already finished his face and right arm. As I continue to color I continue to fiddle, tweak and detail.

Also for whatever reason the scanner is picking up these strange vagaries in the hue of the walls; I have no idea what is causing that. I'll clean up the colors a little in the actual piece, but they're not nearly so obvious. I hope my scanner isn't planning on kicking the bucket soon...
