The Rose Bishop figured prominently in a dream I had last night so I figured for a warm-up it was high time I finally started doing some concepts. He is a powerful, exiled fae and ex-Chancellor for the White Court. He’s got a Tolkien-Elvish-Meets-Hellraiser-Cenobite vibe so I’m trying to get the hang of capturing that. These are rough and not terribly fancy but they’ll do for a warmup and an idea on paper for now.

• He is male but very androgynous. Because of his proportions he walks with a slight sashaying motion.
• Despite him looking thin and frail, he is actually incredibly strong, athletic and agile (not unlike a mundane hare).
• Through years of arduous exposure and torture, he has overcome his innate faerie weakness to iron. He now carries a staff made entirely of the metal to show he has transcended weakness of the flesh.
• How he channels magic is still a mystery. He seems to be something akin to an Ur-priest (a cleric that doesn’t gain power from god worship but insead steals divine power) and some kind of ascetic.
