Those words echoed in the troll’s head, as they clung to his mind as fresh as the cold rain cascading down upon him, and the now-burning village. The flames were not going to go out that easily. They raged just as hard as their villagers did.

“This is now your time to step up. When you leave, there will be nothing to protect here. But there are many chances out there, beyond these mountains and plateaus. We will meet again, only you will be a different person. I only hope that you will have moved forward. Now go!”

Long time commission that I’ve been sitting on that I’ve finally gotten done for of his Shadowrun character Comet that he plays in the campaign I’m running. Just a glimpse of his past, as you can see he’s just like me and loves giving his characters horrible or sad backstories.
