I’ve been overworking myself even before October hit and I’m really starting to feel the Inktober fatigue. I’ve taken to doing free-form ballpoint sketches with no initial pencils. I’ve found eliminating the compulsion to erase by sketching in pen is doing me a lot of good. I have to commit to the lines and forms more and a lot of that organic flow is left in. You never realize how many good lines you erase when you sketch until you simply can’t do it.
