Sparkyopteryx

Got this project done finally! Commissioned by certified a certified Cool Dude of his guardian Centurion Ahkaskar Stormheart surveying conflict in Auric Basin and getting ready to join the fray. He wanted me to do this in the same sort of style as my personal piece “As They Fall” and I couldn’t have been happier. Commissions like these give me life.

I don’t even know how many hours I poured into this so I’m not even going to estimate. 9′‘x12′‘ multiliner ink and a bit of Copic marker on smooth bristol.

How much would a gorgeous piece like this cost? My Charr scrapper needs some love like this.

My prices are pretty flexible depending on what you want, complexity of gear and rendering, whether there's a background, etc. For all the bells and whistles like this one, that being fully detailed, rendered character and armor and a background, it's $200. This is basically the absolute fanciest I can go with inks.

What would the file size be? Because these would make wonderful, full-sized posters, especially right above my desktop PC.

Well I always scan at least at 300dpi, and I give a large filesize and a medium one, the large ones usually at 2000 to 3000 resolution on the longest side. Landscape format always works the best for desktops too.

Well, I meant as an actual poster to put on the wall. :)

Aha well in that case, as long as it's scanned at 300dpi in a large enough resolution you can definitely manage that from a print shop, or additionally I work on a much larger sheet!

Looking at this is almost dizzying with its surreal feeling of motion, I love it so.
