This was the big one. The man is 82 years old and in excellent health, but none of the cast is going to live forever. I had this opportunity and I couldn't pass it up.

The man has a presence. Even when he speaks softly, you can feel it filling the space. He was pleasant and warm and kind. All the things people say not to expect from Shatner towards his fans. This was truly an honor and a pleasure. Yeah, I paid for it, but so? Still, the opportunity is what counts most. :)
