a vent art I wanted to do yesterday and finally sketched out today. If it feels a bit 'Miyazaki' to you, I had Haku in mine when drawing the ink spilling out of Hal's mouth. I can see her after this scene, rising up the rest of the way from the swamp, lily pads sliding off her wet and matted fur, and tendrils of black ink sloshing on the ground.

The cause for the 'vent' if anyone wants to know is me having to go back home from Miami a day early, and then find out the 'aunt' watching my precious puppy let her other dogs chew on my dog and she's full of scabs and holes so it was off to the fucking vet for my puppy, and I am hellaciously bent about it. never letting anyone watch any of my animals ever again. this was the first time and last time i will ever leave my baby[babies] in anyone's care but my own.
