Sov is my OC, and she's gone through quite a few changes over the years since like... 2007 when I first created her (under a different name) it would be funny to see how she changed, but sadly I don't have the old files anymore.

She is missing a few additions like her shawl and some other bits, and I still need to draw a ventral-wing view as well as feet views. This is just a part of the reference, it'll expand over time as I finish more bits. <3

Some little tid-bits about her:
She's not the 'classic' gryphon. She's part bird part CANINE. She's based off a Jardine's Parrot, and the 'canine' part of her is loosely based off of an Ibizan Hound.
Sov, as well many other gryphons, share a world called Albanar (my headworld) that I'm still developing. It's changed a lot over time but I think I've finally settled on stuff.
Sov's sly, sarcastic, loyal and caring, and loves food so she's a bit on the stocky size. She loves lazying around in the sun and spending time with her loved ones.

Gryphons on Albanar are separated into 'sub-species' kind of. So the bird have falls into categories like parrots, hawks, owls, etc. and the canine part correlates to the bird part. So a Gryhpon that is part red-tailed hawk, isn't going to have a poodle for it's dog half... it'll probably have something like a wolf, etc. Gryphons also vary alot in size and their size is more relative to their bird half than the canine half. You got big ones, like a vultures (with maybe a jackal half) and small ones like perhaps a parakeet/chihuahua mix. Lots of possibilities haha.

Once I get the world basics down and some main character references done, I plan to open a Patreon for this to help support this world building endeavor.
