This is the story of how the facility came to be deserted, and how the people of Arcania came to be.

There are no spoilers in this story in relation to Searching Arcania, so feel free to read and enjoy. If you want, please give me a brief critique of how you like it. Keep in mind, I did little editing before posting, so I'm mostly interested in the telling a story.
