Aaaand, scene! ^_^ Huzzah! Way to go, team. Things remain awkward between Shine and the Fancy Man, but they've apparently made a temporary accord, so that's good!

It's kinda interesting, sometimes, how different your approach and background can be from another person in your niche demographic. It was definitely a strange experience for me when I first went to my school's queer club in college (chaos, it was a bit for me to come to a generic Thing to call it! We usually just called it Gay Club, and my high school one was the GSA, or Gay/Straight Alliance, so that's my brain's default "proper" name for the club, though this specific one was the Rainbow Coalition...it's fun) and just...coming to realize that I had nothing in common with most of these people, we were just also gay. ^_^ That being said, I've connected better with most of the other trans people and Otherkin I've met, but the further out you go from a shared experience the less instant connection there is.

^_^ But yeah. How well will Shine and the Fancy Man ever connect? Guess we'll find out!
