Life of a short person, see up ALL THE NOSES. Heh, I've used "I can see up your nose," to diffuse at least two fights in my life, so that's sick! Granted, Shine's a wee bit shorter than I am at the moment, and those hooves are hard. Plus he's pretty quick. So, "Kick 'em in the shins and run away," would also work really well for him.

This is one of those pages that works really weird in slow-update webcomic format, since it's leading into Shine finally learning something the audience already knows, namely, what's happening with the creepy cloak illusion he keeps accidentally making. Spoilers, I guess?

Shine's so touched they're inviting him out for pizza. Like, he knows shit's gonna be incredibly awkward, but he's regressing to that place where the cool kids in middle school invited him to do a thing, and he doesn't want them to decide he's lame. But also he's a unicorn, and has nothing in common with these people.
