Thanks so much! I don't hate a strong delineation between the tail and torso, but I get bored of seeing the same thing over and over, and wanted to do something that felt more natural for this boy!

Love this design, and how the fish half seamlessly joins with the furry half. Having the tail "eating" the upper half is such a tired design.
