I need some critique on this.
Trying to go for something more emotional, but questioning the anatomy. Specifically the dead girl.
First time drawing something like this.
Is the head tilted too far back? Is she being held wrong? Does she not look limp enough? Do naturally curly tails stay curled after death or limp? Critique anything else as well. I want this to look emotional but crappy anatomy takes away from that.

Looking really nice! The anatomy ain't crappy at all if you ask me, perfect for a more comic-like pic like this ^^ The emotion in this is showing but it could be more intense, the background adds a lot to it but you could check out an expression tutorial like this one http://www.deviantart.com/art/EXPRESSIONS-TUTORIAL-295218935 to help you with this phase :3 Rage and sadness are not beautiful emotions so don't be afraid to add less attractive features like wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, shagginess of fur on cheeks or even snot which usually walks hand in hand with tears. Experiment and study to see what works best! :3
As for the tail question, we have a mittel german spitz whose tail always straightens when she sleeps, so COULD be that it would straighten on death too but I'm not sure D:
