Pinup illustration I did of Asuka Langley Sohryu, from Neon Genesis: Evangelion. It's one of my favorite anime, and frankly Asuka is my favorite character. Because she's really the only good character in the whole series. I don't usually draw anime/manga style artwork at all(because I hate drawing human faces...), but this was just absolutely, genuinely fun to draw from start to finish. Even gave me an excuse to go out and get some new watercolor paints. Five bucks a tube for Grumbacher paints... sheesh. Granted they're not M. Graham paints, but they're still a high quality brand, and boy do they work!
The NERV logo in the background was done with Dr Ph Martin's Bombay India ink, while the Damascus Damsel herself is painted in watercolor. I'm pretty proud of it, to be honest... really made her pop.

Fun fact: I didn't touch a pen at all while I was doing this. Aside from my mechanical pencil, I used a combination of rigger, round, and sumi brushes to do the linework, inking, and watercolor, respectively.
