The (near) finished product of what I've been doing with my days off from work the past few weeks. A leather tankard, or mug, and it is fully functional as a drinking vessel. The linework was sketched out by yelth and then transferred to the leather. All tooling, construction and painting/staining was done by me. To seal the leather, I used a product called EnviroTek that makes it watertight, alcohol-proof and heat resistant.
The last step, which is all that is needed to truly finish the mug, is to coat the outside in bees wax.
Enjoy!
