Beksi*ń*ski is one of my favorite artists of all time, and your definitely captured the essence of him in this! Well done!

His work is incredible. It has always felt, to me, that he really knows how to portray horror without relying on the usual go-to aesthetic for spooky stuff. I guess a lot of his imagery evokes a sort of "This is deeply disconcerting and I'm not sure why." It's always felt very genuine, I guess, like the illustration of his own personal phobias and nightmares.
I wasn't going for something quite as horrific here, but I wanted to see if I could use some of his weird textures in something a little more darkly whimsical rather that completely terrifying.

I think you achieved dark whimsical mood pretty well.
Beksinski's work is amazing. It reminds of an amped up version of the illustrations from "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark."
