Dog with Rat Anatomy by SlippingStar

Dog with Rat Anatomy

SlippingStar

A bit of a counterpart to this.

Often when someone draws a rat, all they preserve are the ears, tail, and teeth. The rest of the anatomy tends to be canine or feline in nature. They claim it's "style," so here's a dog "stylized" using rat anatomy to emphasize the point. Before anyone claims I'm going overboard, here's what is missed on rats a lot:

-peach fuzz/very light color of fur fuzz on backs of ears
-"hands," not paws
-"hands" are naked
-they cannot "sit up," their forelegs are too short
-very hunched back
-"feet," not hind paws
-brow is convex
-nose is very unique, not like a cat or dog's
-they are FAT FAT FAT

For a good rat guide, go here. I hope you can understand now why inaccurate anatomy defended by "style" annoys me!
