Another piece of concept gift art for my book, In Honor’s Shadow, drawn by jotunneko!

This time it’s Seiko, the illegitimate daughter of the previous daimyo and half-sister to the current one. Because of the circumstances surrounding of her birth she feels an intense need to prove her worth and has a tendency to behave rashly. I like that Jotun didn’t give her the standard fantasy boob-plate armor, that really wouldn’t fit her character. The kanji beside her means “Determination” (I believe).
