Rip grinned widely and stood in the clearing, “And remember; no peeking!”

“Don't worry. I won't, sweety.”

Skitch faced away from Rip, eyes closed and a subtle grin on her face as she heard the fox shuffle behind her. What was he doing? She loved a surprise as much as anyone, but it wasn't really like Rip to do things like this. He wasn't running from her, was he? Had her most recent predatory urges been too much?

The fox padded through the grass, dashing back and forth several times, and quickly looked at Skitch. “Almost ready, just... just a few more seconds!”

The smile on his face was immense, and he took a few more quick steps before stopping and staring at the ground. He circled for a moment, tail excitedly swishing past his legs as he ensured that everything was perfectly positioned, and then laid down on the ground atop a patch of grass.

“Ready. Go ahead and turn around, Skitch.”

The second she turned around, the Cougar burst into a wide, laughing smile. Rip was lying a few feet away on a soft pile of grass, thin graceful back facing her in a wonderfully sexy pose. There was a small apple in his mouth, his scarlet fur shone in the broad sunlight, and his tail gently motioned at Skitch.

“Just as you ordered, love,” he winked, “A fresh meal of fox.”

“Oh, Rip!” Skitch rushed to his side and scooped him into her arms, “I'm not sure whether to hug you or eat you!”

Rip grinned as his muzzle flattened into her chest, “Maybe both? This fox stays hot all day.”

Skitch laughed again and pulled Rip up to her face, immediately covering him in broad, wet licks. She had no idea he'd react this willingly to her instinctual desires, and as she kept taking in the taste of her fur, one thought passed through her mind.

Out of all the foxes in her forest, this one really was good enough to eat.
