Tam is an unpracticed mage, instinctively skilled with a rare set of magical abilities. Rather than devote her life to sorcery, though, Tam found herself working a simple job in an inn at a young age. She never knew quite what to do with her life, and she was too poor to try moving someplace else, so Tam stayed at the inn into her adulthood, working her way up through different positions. When the keeper of the inn felt he was ready to retire, he had no family left to pass the inn to, and so he appointed Tam to succeed him. She gladly took on the responsibility, having no other plans to worry about. The inn was renamed as Blue Lights Inn, after the blue-lit lantern outside the doorway that she powered through a simple spell. Tam ran the inn successfully for a few short years, until the day Allazar walked through the door.
