A species reference and full character example for an RPG I'm developing, set in my science fiction universe.

The fuldron are an intelligent race with exceptional skills in higher technology. Their bodies are strange to other races, having multiple external organ systems which are protected by a removable shell-like material that grows in pointed shapes. Fuldron society places high focus on advancement, though social interactions between them consist mostly of body language and sounds produced by their head-based organs. Since encountering other races, fuldron have incorporated "speech" into their lives, learning to form words with their funny noises. Odd as they may seem, fuldron take an interest in enhancing and building onto technology - even that of other races, which has helped their odd society find a place among the galaxy.
