Captain Ulver is one of the few pirates on the seas of his world who values honor and loyalty among his crew more than strength and capability. His swordplay is fast beyond belief, and he is a direct threat to any imperial ships that sail near him.

Auro is a rat of few words, but he follows his best friend and captain with unquestioning loyalty. His foes never see him coming, and that tends to be their unanimous final mistake.

While labeled as pirates, in truth they are rebels against a tyrannical monarch of their capital city. They'll sink imperial ships and work to dismantle the city's guard until the day a new rule finally arises, and gladly don the title of "pirates" until then.
