I had a dream two days where Wander (from Wander Over Yonder), snuck into this guarded castle to see a Queen....who apparently was his wife! After lots of embraces, Wander says they need to talk about their child, which starts a flashback sequence.

Apparently a long time ago was a King of a planet world with Star Nomads. Wander (who didn't go by Wander then) and his Queen had a baby who, uh, was apparently...this superbaby with magical powers? At any rate, everything was fine and dandy until Lord Hater's empire declared war/conquest on their world, so they came up with a plan to hide their baby with a family who could never know of their child's origins (and hopefully be far away from Lord Hater's grasp), and also to secretly escape in small spaceships to other planets/asteroids/etc because hey...you can't conquer a people if they aren't in one place!

Unfortunately, during the escape, quite a few of the ships were intercepted...including the Queen's. 8( So Lord Hater keeps her as a hostage to ensure good behavior and surrender from the other Nomads that were captured. Wander and other Star Nomads go into hiding...

And then it's back to the present. The problem is that their child, Wander and the Queen, is actively looking for her parents and has a good lead. Now, the 'King' of the Star Nomads is dead as far as anybody knows, and no one suspects Wander of ever having been of a royal title. But the Queen? She's under constant watch by a powerful and evil villain, so if Super Baby finds mom...yeah, bad match up.

The dream pretty much ended there, but I love the concept of it, even though I'm usually the first person to say they don't like dark headcanons or alternate universe/AUs. xD;; I guess it's a guilty pleasure in this case!
