Ah yes, herbivores just have a strange shape to them that makes them look a bit wicked, especially since they are not as recognizable as a predator skull.
stringy flesh is just so much fun to render.

Getting carried away is the best thing. :D Happens to me to.
I LOVE SKULLS and designs with them! And I adore the idea of putting these candles on the antlers. It reminds me of some sort of rituals. Herbivore skulls can be the most haunting for those.
But there's also something interestingly gory about having the skulls put on one another and attached with something that looks fleshy. Even though this artwork is B&W, you can almost see dark red color tones on some parts.
