The Gunness Sisters

SirMeo

Feels great to draw personal stuff again omg

Anyway!!

The Gunness sisters, younger sister Irene (green clothes) and older sister Beatrice (brown clothes)

A small “before and after” type picture of them. Of course it’s not… really… accurate because they haven’t worn same clothes (especially Beatrice… her old clothes really wouldn’t even fit…) or hair styles for 15+ years but you know, some insight to what happened to them after they joined the Cult of the Red.

They were originally from a wealthy family, but when they were like… 18 and 16 or so, give or take few years, their family business went down and they went from riches to rags very quickly. They both married rich husbands in hopes of keeping their lavish lifestyles, but it didn’t go well for either of them. That’s when a family “friend” introduced them to the cult.

Question: Is Beatrice's breast size because of the insects/presumable infection-blood-pus-whatever within them or did she do something to make them bigger and then they started to rot?

Her breasts size increased as a result of the worm infestation, not the other way around. (Her breast size can also slightly fluctuate depending on how much worms she's currently hosting/incubating inside her, but it's not something people ore bound to notice unless they really pay attention to her... size) She used to be satisfied with her flat looks because she was - and still is, I suppose - a bit of a tomboy at heart and she feels her large bosom is a nuisance, but since breasts are the most convenient place to host the worms in, she has accepted her new body.

does she have to do anything in particular to keep the skin from ripping to the point where the fat and colony would fall and rot off on it's own? Sorry if I'm asking weird questions or whatever I'm just very curious about how her 'gift' works. It's very interesting!

No need, the worms have healing properties (which is why she keeps them in the first place, they give her abnormal healing rate and strength) so while they eat and breed in her flesh they also keep her in good health. This is abnormal behavior for the worms however, and her "special power" is actually to keep the worms in check: otherwise they would take over her whole body and devour her from the inside.

That's really cool! Kudos to her then cause I'm terrified of bugs in general so keeping a colony of them inside any part of me would be pretty unbearable.
One last question: I notice in a lot of the pictures that show her 'gift' she's bleeding at least a little bit, does she wear any padding or any such thing to keep the blood from soaking through her clothes, or does she just let it do as it will?

It's actually not blood, but the secretions of the worms! It just happens to be colored red. Most of the time the worms are rather dormant and stay inside her, and only when they are more "active" do they, er, worm out of her, leaving trails of blood, so there really is no need for precautions, unless she intends to actually use the worms for something.
