Man, I knew my coloring would look rough, but I didn't realise HOW rough heh. Jeez... Thats what I get for winging it after 20+ years of not coloring with pencils. I also only was able to use like 4 Prismacolor pencils from what was left of my 48 pencil set I got back in 99 that a lot have used over the years. The pic I was trying to color by was THIS ONE that was pretty much same pose I was trying to replicate. I doubt with just the 4 i used you could get that close ot it but I tried anyway. The 4 i used for the curious were:
Where I tried to blend from light Umber into darker levels of it for around the chin area, ear inner, tail, upper half of body that was to have i guess less light on from wherever light source was, etc... I either blended it too dark or not enough, tried erasing forehead area to make lighter and just learned what not to do (hopefully)...
This was done on a printout of thee scanned inked version I did so I could try multiple times on coloring it, see how I do. Coloring I can see can be a bitch beyond using just flat colors vs shading and blending...
Ink is HERE I was coloring. Definitely got a loooooooot to learn on coloring.
