Recently an archaelogic expedition, looking for the origin of our anthropomorphic kind, discovered some ancient ruins that seemed to be some kind of.. laboratory? Factory? There are still no final reports and the investigation of this huge area will take a few years. But after photographs from a few yellowed notes from the inside were leaked, conspiracists feel deeply confirmed that our origin might actually be... unnatural.

This year's Eurofurence topic was "Greenhouse World", a more or less postapocalyptic setting, like you might remember it from "Inherit The Earth". So what could fit better to it than some sketchy notes from a scientist long gone? :)
