Iguanodon Fittoni by SinopaRapax

Iguanodon Fittoni

SinopaRapax

One of my two submissions for the III International Contest of Scientific Illustrations of Dinosaurs, held in Spain.

This is an Iguanodon fittoni taking a walk along a calm lakeside done on A4 paper. This drawing, even though it did not win, has to be the best thing I've ever done. I'm extremely happy and proud of it, just having drawn this in itself was worth entering that contest :)

As I said before: I didn't win the contest, and after seeing the three illustrations that placed, I really had no chance at all XD The works that won are amazing, but I'm still happy to have been able to work out these two drawings of my own. I'm very pleased with them even if they didn't win :)

Since people had been asking, you can find the winners of the contest here!: http://fundaciondinosaurioscyl.blogspot.com/2011/06/el-jurado-del-iii-concurso.html

First place is on top, second below it, and third at the bottom :) If you click the thumbnail of the first place painting at the end of the entry, you can see the rest of the submitted illustrations that did not make it as well :)
