My favorite is Cyndaquil. I love its game cry so much, and think its super cute. It makes me feel really warm.

A Loaf of Breab
Personally I'd choose bulbasaur. Not because of its complex advantage against both squirtle and charmander, but because it's adorable and I love grass/bug types :)
