Gustloff Volkssturmgewehr by Simonov

Gustloff Volkssturmgewehr

Simonov

One of the "last ditch" firearms made by the Axis nations in the final days of WWII, the Gustloff Volkssturmgewehr was a semi-automatic rifle designed to be cheaply and quickly made to arm the German Volkssturm militias. Though an interesting design, it had no real impact on the war.
