As usual, the old dream to see an inflatable lion in my collection never seems to happen. Of course, the one complaint always is: "It's hard to make a proper inflatable mane on one!" Well, here's an idea: Forget an inflatable mane and build one with a detachable plush mane! One could either use snaps or (like my Uniroyal Tiger) velcro attachment points. Then one could have either a 'Simba' or a 'Kimba' with all the squeakiness, yet also a soft mane to nuzzle into. It's an idea anyways. Also, (at least in my case), that mane could make the inflatable last longer because I would be nuzzling it instead of the bare vinyl with my face.
