Trak insisting on a slice of water melon at ConFurgence. Will that husky give it up?

An interesting scene and in focus but I flunked out with the lighting. All mottled and blotchy. I will upload this one because I feel bad that most of the shots I took out in the courtyard with Arti and Trak turned out this way.

One of the photos that gave me problems because of the dynamic range of my camera. My camera was exposing for the shadows in the courtyard. Lighting Under the trees in the courtyard of the hotel overwhelmed my cameras capabilities. Most of the shots couldn't be saved because the points of light in their fur had blown out to full white. It goes to show you need to think about the capabilities of your camera and not just an interesting scene.
