Ah, here's a drawing that's actually from this year (2014). This is another old pic, having been in my deviantART gallery since July.

After drawing that reference back in 2013, I kind of... fell out of the loop with drawing due to personal issues, and this was my first real attempt at getting back into that hobby. If any of you have seen the reference in question, then it shouldn't be too hard to notice that I had become rusty. This picture, it... it actually wasn't supposed to be this fancy. Quite the opposite - it was meant to be a pretty simple pic, featuring just a bust shot, an emblem, and her name. However, it was't working out as well as I had hoped, but I instead wound up adding more and more to the pic rather than ceasing the project/uploading it as it.

I think the worst part is how little I enjoyed drawing this - as stated above, it was supposed to be a simple project meant to get me back into the habit of drawing, but the project ballooned and I wound up spending more and more time on it, all the while I was having less and less fun with it... and even now I don't even know if it was worth it in the end. But it's a "completed" drawing from this year, so up it goes...
