This reference is a little on the old site and has been available on my deviantART profile since September of 2013, but I think it's still good enough to share and re-upload here. I'm not sure if me thinking it's still good is a sign of how far I've come, or if it's a sign of me regressing. Let's hope it's not the latter.

The reference was originally made to showcase ad finalize Sharon's redesign, which I intended to use to commission artists with. Talking about the changes made to the character here would be redundant, however, as I have no plans to upload any Sharon pictures older than this one. While I am still pleased with the outcome of this picture, I will say that working on it was an absolute nightmare - many parts of the picture needed to be redrawn (sometimes more than once) or recolored. I also originally had plans to apply some sort of crumpled paper texture in the back to help it pop out more, but I was unable to make or find a proper texture that I could use for it, so it never happened. It... it looks good without it, right? ... Right?

Anyway, I still plan to use this to commission other artists. At least until I finally get sick of it and/or redesign the character again, anyway. Hopefully, that won't be for some time, as I still need to make a proper reference of my default character, Melee.
