Eleven years ago Claire experimented on a material that can absorb just about anything. However one miscalculation and a puff of smoke later she found a little cute ball with eyes in its place. Falling for it's cute baby charm she decides to adopt it and name it after the experiment it was created from; K1-r2y or Kirby.

One the fatal day of the time travel experiment she gave Kirby her glasses and told him to hold on to them till she got back. When the machine started to break down Kirby tried to save her but got caught in the explosion and was hurled thousands of miles away (let's face it Kirby does get tossed around a lot).

Kirby spent ten whole years to get back to London to return her glasses. Only to find that she was no where to be found...
