Alexander Cartols is part of an early Regiem of Warriors that has dedicated itself to holding the northern pass just east of The skallagrim city ruins. They keep bandits and other undesirables from pilfering the ancient city until such a time that they are not needed.

Alexander's job however is to seek out the last of the Skallagrim clan and bring him back to the city of where he belongs. Since The clan skallagrim was the sole above ice dwelling ice sub portion they were almost completely destroyed by time and by attacks. The Regime also known as the "Ice Kings of the north" is also responsible for managing traffic throughout the area they have been charged with reguardless if it's moving towards the city.

Alexander is a part of a small sub squad of the Ice kings known as The "Ice stalkers" Due to their nature of beginning battles unannounced even though their honour code didn't permit. Alexander is the exception to this rule of the stalkers.
