I really wanted to do personal art the other day and I've been meaning to draw Fox!Lucas again, so here we are!

Fox!Lucas is the au version of Lucas. ;P He's also Japanese themed, as I have shown him in the last picture as well.

I also saw my aunt and Japanese uncle not too long ago so felt even more motivated to do another Japanese themed piece!

The little red thing with one eye is a daruma doll. They are rather special for me personally because my aunt and uncle used to get me them when I was much younger for a few years in a row. My aunt thought I didn't care for Japanese culture anymore at some point so she stopped sending them, but I let her know that's not the case! So maybe I'll get another this Christmas.

You get the daruma doll without the eyes filled in, so you put in one eye when you make a goal for yourself, typically starting of the new year.
My aunt told me that if you finish the goal within the year you color in the other eye and keep it. If not, you burn it. Wikipedia isn't saying that, but I like what my aunt said better. haha.

What's Lucas' goal, you ask? That's a secret. ;P

Au Lucas and normal Lucas also differ as adults. Au Lucas has no facial hair while normal adult Lucas will (though just a little bit). It's a way for me to have both versions. XD

The haiku reads:
Love's many forms--
all the threads of desire

I thought it fit pretty well for this piece. hehe.
