MIB (Men In Black) Edgar the Bug redesign. Please forgive lame background, had to draw one up in Photoshop as I couldn't get Zbrush to render even a simple floor model without crashing to desktop.
Edgar is 25 million polys all by himself plus the 2 or so million polys for his little hairs. No idea how much the floor was; it would crash every time I rotated the view. Couldn't handle anything more than him XD

Yes its a mix between the CG bug and the puppet, no I didn't use any toy references for it. Most of it was just Go-With-The-Flow when sculpting so its not 100% the CG or puppet in design. I left off the Antennae because I couldn't get it to dynamesh properly and the mesh kept tearing or was over 2 million polygons in just the antennae alone!
I'll be doing a new and better version whenever I get a new PC that can handle it. Mine is trying to die on me :/

Man do I love the Edgar Bug! I'm really digging what you did here, it kinda looks like a combo of the original puppet and the final CGI creature. I'm curious though; did you happen to use the Micro Machines mini-figure as a reference?
