The Moonweaver Chronicles: Prologue

Setting up the divination spell to track him, I thought back on the events that had just transpired. A summoner was binding another demon and I to his will. Of all the demons I had ever seen, he had to have been the most unique. He looked nothing like other demons, he took the form of a dove, the tough skinned feed of a bird, three taloned toes forward and one backwards, his body was covered in white feathers. His hands were devoid of any claws. He wasn't that tall, at least a few feet smaller than me, He had a beak on his face and soft blue eyes, not to mention two beautiful wings on his back.

The spell was nearly complete and I found myself somewhat attracted to him. I didn't really get much time though, he had suddenly started talking to our summoner, in a soothing voice. Hearing his voice, the rage that I had gotten used to feeling every time someone summons me and binds me to their will began to dissipate. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that I was so caught up in them that I didn't actually hear what he was saying somehow...

He managed to convince our summoner to dismiss us without having to do anything, it was the strangest thing. I got the feeling that he wasn't bound to our summoner's will at all though. I know that being half demon means that I am only half bound, so does that mean he has found a way to conquer his demonic nature entirely? If I find this person, I may never have to deal with being bound to a summoner's will. I may even find a way to get rid of this rage that plagues me.

The spell is almost done, I can use this feather that I grabbed before we were sent back from whence we came for the divination spell. I cant pass this opportunity up, I need to find this man, it may be my only chance at living a normal life. Plus he was really beautiful... I really wouldn't quite mind getting to know that man in a biblical sense. I stepped through the portal to where the divination spell has pointed. According to the spell, he wasn't too far from my current location.
