An idea for a new unit type that had not existed in the game ShellCore Command series.

This is a new unit type that I come up with, and it's an editable one for the player because any member in a squad setup can be changed before a battle. Each squad that you spawns from the Barracks will only take one unit cap. A droid squad can be transported by a Bullet Tank, Tank Grabber with their own infantry transport compartment. You can reduce the amount of members of each squads to reduce on recruitment cost as well.

Droid Barracks: Enable recruitment of droid infantry units. These droids are however vulnerable in the open where they can be ran over by enemy tanks and they can avoid that by garrisoning themselves in trenches or any other building/ objects that provides cover. It is a capturable facility through.

Beam: These droid have a weapon that is similar to that of the Beam Tanks, it is excel in tearing enemy Tanks.

Cannon: Oriented to kill other Droid units with its dual cannon, which is similar to how Cannon Drone killing other Drones in the air.

Scout: These are fast droids and are able to detects camouflaged Droids and hidden Droids in enemy trenches from farther distances. Equipped with a light Cannon weapon to defend itself which has 1/3 attack power compared to the Cannon droid. More Scout droids in the squad mean increased detection range as well enable various abilities:

1 Droid -> Enable camouflaged unit detection, increase Sniper's range. Increase default trench enemies detection range for the whole squad.
2 Droids -> Detect enemy mines, as well disarming traps.
3 Droids -> Can now deploy fake beacons to distract enemy as well conceal the existence of the whole squad from long range sight.
4 Droids -> Increase movement speed for the whole squad. Can call in Artillery barrage attack to ground targets from off-sector which will take a while before be able to call again.
5 Droids -> Pinpointing Stealthed enemies including both ground and air, Able to activate passive Scan abilities to disable Stealth.
6 Droids -> Only possible with a Command droid in the squad. Make the whole squad fully Stealthed in passive while idle. Can now guide sniper squad anywhere from the battlefield using their own ability to call in Sniper Strike.

Sniper: Similar to the Cannon Droid, but they kill other droids in longer range of fire and has longer reload. While they can actually detects hidden enemy in trenches from long range by their own, an inclusion of a Scout droid in the squad will improve their engagement range of fire.

Command: These droid will increase the maximum squad size by 2, and provides supportive buff to the whole squad, improving their range, damage, fire rate. Only one is allowed to be included into the squad, has 1/2 attack power compared to a Cannon droid. A Command droid can join with other squads once all their squadmates are killed in combat.

Missile: This is the only kind of droid that is able to engage air units while dealing with ground units at the same time. They have long range missiles, which cannot be used to attacks other Droids, but can lock onto Tanks. Their weapon however is more suited for dealing damage to air units, including ShellCores.

Bullet: These droid has a mid-long range bullet weapons which captures enemy bunkers faster, as well bringing down enemy structures. Their weapon do mediocre job against everything else, but somehow are more deadly when killing trenches enemies while bypassing trenches damage reduction bonus.
